Cinemagic Kuwait Rooftop Movie Schedule For May 2012
Cinemagic released May 2012 movie schedule. The Outdoor Screening Event takes place at Cinemagic’s roof top venue. These screenings are social, cultural & educational events related to the movies being screened.
Every Thursday and Saturday evening at 07:30 pm a different movie will be screened. After each screening a few people attend a discussion session about the movie they saw. Read More

Korea Week in Kuwait from May 8 to 11
As part of its ongoing efforts to increase the level of contacts and interaction between the Korean and Kuwaiti peoples, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Kuwait is organizing the Korea Week from May 8 to 11 at the Korean Embassy located in the Diplomatic Zone 2 in Mishref. The Korea Week provides a unique chance for Kuwaitis
and other residents to get acquainted with Korea and its culture as it offers many programs including tasting
Korean food, buying Korean art, crafts and products, learning about Korean Culture and meeting and befriending
Korean people. Korea Week is full of excitement and all are welcome to come and enjoy the entertainment.
The week includes various programs such as Korean food festival (May 8), Korean traditional wedding ceremony and Kids Hanbok (Korean traditional clothing) fashion show (May 8 and 9) and K-Pop Contest (May 10). There is also the
Korean market selling Korean food, Korean foodstuff, Korean art craft and stationery while a charity bazaar will sell small items donated by the Korean community and Kuwaiti volunteers.
In addition to these, participants will be able to try beautiful Hanbok, Korean calligraphy, Hanji (Korean traditional paper) art craft, and Tal (Korean traditional mask) making. “This week of events also highlights the Kuwaiti culture.
A group of forty Kuwaiti volunteers from the Korean Culture Diwaniya are taking part in preparing for this event. The group will also organize a corner for Kuwaiti culture in addition to a Charity Bazaar. To make the whole event
more vivid, dancing teams from the Kuwaiti side such the B-boy dance team, Electrik crew, Hip hop dance team, 965 crew, will also join the K-pop contest as special guests.
